Geoffrey Roth Gallery is excited to introduce to Sedona the award-winning Pamela Froman Fine Jewelry Collection featuring handmade pieces comprised of multiple colors of precious metal and exquisite, rare natural stones. Originality and meticulous attention to every detail are hallmarks of Pamela’s signature look: because each item is handmade, no two will ever be identical, even if they are similar in design. “I love irregular surfaces,” Pamela explains, “so most of my Collection is textured with a special hand hammering technique I call ‘Crushed’ “. Founded in 1997 by partners Mathew William Conable and Michael Henry Honack, the studio has grown from a one-man shop to a 20 person company that has established a new benchmark of excellence in luxury-grade knives. Every pocket knife the studio makes is a distinctive heirloom-quality testament to the art of knife making. Each piece takes more than seven months to produce, and incorporates the work of more than 30 artisans across 800 individual operations. Matt Conable says about his designs: The integration of various traditions, materials, and technologies allows me to create cutlery that is elegant, distinctive, and without peer in performance.” We look forward to seeing you!

Paper Bird @ Oak Creek Brewing Company
November 13

Standing firm in no existing genre, Paper Bird's backbone is their songwriting, musicianship, and a general allergy to all limitations and trends. With seven members, and no leader, this band is pulled in every direction imaginable, but thanks to their unique instrumentation, this Colorado based group is able to merge there spontaneous creativity into one, solid sound. The members of the band, Sarah Anderson, vocals and trumpet; sisters Esmé and Genny Patterson, vocals; Tyler Archuletta, trombone; Paul DeHaven, guitar; Caleb Summeril, banjo; conveniently met in the mountain town of Breckenridge, CO. There, the egg hatched and the birds took flight. Their Jazzy, Folk, Americana sound pays homage to the American Bandstand of the 1950’s. Still, they are able to achieve the Indie rock image and resonance of the current age. The female vocals create a soulful, dynamic harmony that accentuates each voice, yet, combines them into one. The trombone, banjo, and guitar elevate the music to a higher level. Each style bounces off the other, while each note appreciates the other. Recently adding an up-right bass, Macon Terry, the richness of Paper Bird’s music has developed immensely. The skilled notes of the bass reflect the harmonies of the existing vocals and instrumentation. They make audiences feel love, excitement, and passion. A show not to be missed, a band that must be heard: Paper Bird is one of a kind.
